I’ve been interpreting for almost twenty years on a voluntary basis and I use my experience in a wide range of settings from business meetings and presentations to public lectures and online discussions. Having lived in the UK for ten years, English is more than just a learned skill for me; it’s a natural environment. Over the years, I’ve gained a wealth of experience, which I now offer as a professional, tailored service. I provide English-Hungarian interpreting for presentations, workshops, negotiations, meetings, and business trips, always adapting to the specific needs of the situation, whether it is consecutive or simultaneous interpreting. I also specialize in remote and online interpreting for online events and phone assistance.

Interpreting for presentations
At conferences, presentations, and workshops, I serve as a bridge between the speaker and the audience. I place equal emphasis on conveying both the content and the delivery — ensuring that the speaker’s message, tone, and intent are communicated as clearly and effectively as possible.
Interpreting for meetings
Whether during business negotiations, consultations, or site visits, I help ensure that all parties understand one another clearly. Depending on the setting, I provide either consecutive interpreting or whispered simultaneous interpreting (chuchotage), always adapting to the context and communication style of the participants.
Remote and online interpretation
I provide interpreting for online presentations, meetings, and video calls — as well as over-the-phone assistance for administrative matters when needed.
WHEN SHOULD YOU HIRE AN INTERPRETER?
In situations where two people don’t share a common language, the need for an interpreter is obvious. But even when both parties speak English, the context may demand a higher level of fluency than they possess. This could be during official proceedings, a presentation, or any situation where confidence in one’s language skills isn’t quite enough — or where it’s crucial that not a single detail is lost in translation.
I’ve also worked in settings where many participants spoke English, but the confidential nature of the topic required an independent interpreter to communicate with the rest of the team.
WHERE AM I AVAILABLE?
I take on multi-day assignments throughout Hungary and abroad. Since I’m based in Somogy County, I can typically accept one-day assignments in Western Hungary and Budapest. For shorter engagements of just a few hours, I can travel within Somogy and Zala counties, and occasionally to Budapest. Naturally, I’m available for online interpreting regardless of location.
